§ 9-4-2. License required; fee.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for a transient merchant, itinerant merchant or itinerant vendor as defined in section 9-4-1 to engage in such business within the city without first obtaining a license in compliance with the provisions of this chapter.

(b)

Licensees under this chapter shall pay such license fee as fixed from time to time by the mayor and council. The license shall expire no later than December 31 of the year in which the business is conducted.
