§ 9-2-78. Sales prohibited on certain days and during certain hours.

  • (a)

    No retailer shall be in his place of business, or open his place of business, or furnish, sell or offer for sale any liquor at any of the following times:

    (1)

    At any time on Christmas Day, or Sundays;

    (2)

    At any time in violation of a local ordinance or regulation or of a special order of the governing authority; or

    (3)

    On any day before 8:00 a.m. or after 11:45 p.m.

    (b)

    Sales of liquor shall be lawful during the polling hours of any election if the sale takes place at least two hundred fifty (250) feet from open polling places.
